Monday, November 24th 

Outdoor Protea Flower Wreaths

Indulge in this chance to work with the uniquely beautiful group of flowers and foliage grown by Veriflora certified grower, Resendiz Brothers. Protea flowers paired with a range of local foliages pair beautifully together to make striking, long lasting outdoor wreaths that will last well beyond the holiday season. Each participant will walk away with an 16" wreath.

Cost- $155 includes all materials (16" wreath wring, flowers, foliage) + light snacks and tea.

Sunday, November 30th

Foraged evergreen wreaths

Come work with foraged grape vine and mixed evergreens, locally grown berries, cones and high grade ribbon to create a beautiful, unique-to-you wreath for your holiday decor. You'll spend time in our beautiful heritage loft learning wreath making techniques with the freshest, most sustainably harvested materials.

 Cost- $70 includes all materials + light snacks and tea.

Indoor living wreaths

Create a long lasting, versatile wreath to use as a centre piece or to hang inside your home. Using locally harvested carpet moss, succulents and air plants we will make low maintenance, beautiful holiday wreaths.  Each participant will walk away with an 8" wreath + candle.

Cost- $115 includes all materials (8" wreath wring, candle, succulents, airplants) + light snacks and tea.

Classic, closed terrarium workshop

Classic terrariums: glass, stone, charcoal, moss, soil, and leafy ferns. This pairing of 'ingredients' has existed for over a century yet can, in the right glass, have a modernist aesthetic. Come learn how to build and care for a low maintenance terrarium using locally grown ferns and other leafy tropicals- designed exactly how you like. Each participant will work within a thick, high grade glass bowl and will have the pick of the Lower Mainland-grown tropical plants

 

Cost- $85 includes glass bowl, all materials + light snacks and tea

Succulent planter workshop

Learn how to construct and maintain a beautiful succulent planting. Whether you gift it or keep it for yourself, these plantings are a beautiful way to frame plants. Each planting will include several locally grown 4" succulent plants of your choosing in a ceramic planter (black or white available) + finishing stone and a maintenance tag.

Cost- $85 includes all basic materials + light snacks and coffee/tea

Fairtrade rose bouquet making workshop

Seeking a romantic DIY gesture this year for the one you fancy? Come design the ultimate Valentine's bouquet using a dozen Fairtrade certified roses, locally grown flowers, and urban foliage and sticks. You'll walk away with a big, beautiful bouquet + the know how to continue to make your own botanical creations at home. Each participant will also have there bouquet photographed in the beautiful light of heritage loft and emailed to them that day. (Bouquets can be stored in our fridge and collected on Valentine's day).

Our beautiful 1,200 sqft heritage studio brims with exquisite natural light, flowers, and plants. Host a flower arranging or wreath making party for your office or wedding shower, throw an intimate gathering in a secret urban garden, or book our space for a film or photo shoot.
